Stephanie A. Shepard,

Stephanie Shepard has been practicing medicine for more than 18 years. She specializes in geriatric medicine for home bound seniors and has been doing so for the past 12 years. She has ample experience in emergency and pediatric medicine as well.

PA Shepard received her Bachelors degree in Chemistry and Biology from Sonoma State University in 2001. She completed her Master's degree in Physician Assistant studies at Samuel Merritt University of Oakland, CA in 2005. She went on to an emergency medicine fellowship at St. Rose Hospital. Stephanie is licensed in 7 states, including MD, VA, and DC. She holds a NCCPA certification and controlled substance licenses.
She came to love caring for the elderly community while living in Washington, DC in 2011. After experiencing the need for medical care at home for the aging population she has been caring for home bound seniors in MD, VA, and Washington, DC ever since.
Stephanie now lives in Southern Maryland and in her free time enjoys hiking, boating and fishing on the Patuxent River with her dog Bodhi.
Paul S. Rhodes, MD
Medical Director
A native of Brooklyn, New York of Jewish and Jamaican heritage, Paul Scott Rhodes, MD attended medical school at the State University of New York, Brooklyn from 1971-75 and completed a residency in internal medicine with elective study in geriatrics and psychiatry at Kings County Hospital from 1975-1978.
He has practiced general internal medicine and geriatrics in the Washington DC area since 1978. For the past ten years, his practice has been geriatric home-based primary care (house calls) exclusively, first through Unity Health Care followed by Providence Hospital and his private practice of House Calls of the District of Columbia and the Frederick Douglass Memorial Eldercare Foundation.
Dr. Rhodes has served on a number of public health committees at the National and State/District levels. He has voluntarily led a number of public health initiatives including the establishment and medical directing of the Port Antonio, Jamaica Homeless Shelter. Paul S. Rhodes, M.D. is an Associate Clinical Professor of Medicine at the George Washington University.
